#PENTACULUM 2015

I had the pleasure of joining 72 artists at the Arrowmont School of Crafts for the 2015 Pentaculum, an interactive symposium for artists working in 2D, ceramics, metals, and textiles.  One of my goals during the Pentaculum was to encourage a collaborative drawing to capture the rich diversity of artists that gathered for this spectacular week. I hung a 4' x 14' piece of watercolor paper outside the studio and invited all 72 artists to leave their mark at some point throughout the week. As I get more involved with leading community murals, I realize it's time for me to learn how to make a time lapse video. I believe they can serve as a valuable tool in communicating just how process based these projects are.  So I figured this was the perfect place to experiment with my first time lapse video. This was created from photos taken every ten minutes over a 5 day period.
