Make Art with Kids

Meet Jake, my 5 year old genius friend and collaborator. I started drawing with Jake at the beginning of summer 2015 because he is a cool kid and we both love to draw.  I had no expectations other than to just spend some quality time with him and let creativity flow.  But as we started to draw together, a magical collaboration started unfolding.  Jake saw so many amazing worlds emerging from my drawings and he began talking to me about what he saw.  Soon enough he became the conductor of the drawings and brought to life amazing characters and the worlds they lived in.  I'll let the drawings speak for themselves.  To date I believe these are some of the strongest pieces I have been a part of creating...and it is all because of the power, beauty, and genius of Jake's imagination.  Enjoy!
